Internships are a great way to start your game developer career and we love the idea of helping raw talent hone their skills as they grow into full-fledged developers. Taking on interns has been a part of our culture since the start and so far pretty much everyone has gone on to become a full-time employee.
We put a lot of effort into making sure it is a true learning experience with Seniors and Directors act as mentors and work directly with the interns. From day one they get to share in the ownership, provide feedback on design and work on key content and features. Interns are a crucial component of our crew as they bring a fresh perspective, lots of energy and help us to improve in the process of teaching and mentoring.
You will be a part of our team and be treated as such; afforded the same level of ownership, trust and responsibility
You will work directly with highly experienced senior developers and directors
We will teach you everything we can and help you go as far as you want
A flat organization where no question is dumb, no mistake damning and everyone matters
We will have fun, together - and there will be fika!
HEAR IT FROM
If you are thinking of applying to Sharkmob - do it! You can’t go wrong. You could never find a more enthusiastic, knowledgeable and experienced team to learn from and grow than at Sharkmob. In the past 20 years as a working adult I’ve never been in a place that was so welcoming, accepting and open to ideas from the bottom to the top. For the first time in my life I was looking forward to work. If you want the freedom to make a great game and to feel like you made your mark then Sharkmob is the right choice.

For me, Sharkmob is a place filled with respect for you, your work and your opinions, no matter age, position or profession. I think that respect is what breeds the good mood, the jokes and the friendships at the office, but is also what is driving us to go that extra mile and do our very best!

During my internship I was never really treated as an intern; I got all of the responsibility and authority of an actual employee. Additionally, the workplace has been relaxed and all focus is on making a great game while enjoying ourselves.
